City Hiking Escape: Rouge National Urban Park
August 30, 2025 | $30/person
End the summer with a refreshing city getaway at Rouge National Urban Park. Led by skilled guides Mariam and Fatima, co-founders of Hayati Outdoors, this afternoon adventure is perfect for Muslim women looking to recharge, reflect, and connect in nature.
We’ll set out on the Rouge Valley Loop (Vista & Mast Trails), a 9.2 km moderate trail with about 159 m elevation gain (2–3 hours). The route features forest canopies, open meadows, lookout points, and sections with river views — an energizing mix of terrain to stretch your legs, spot wildlife, and enjoy sisterhood in the outdoors.
Along the way, we’ll pause for light refreshments, and everyone will receive a special end-of-summer goodie bag to take home.
Let’s walk, connect, and celebrate the season — together.
